Dania Beach: Our Home Base

Dania Beach is ZIP 33004 and the place our crews leave from. The city runs its own water system, so a pressure or meter question starts with city utility customer service and not with a county office. Wastewater flows to the City of Hollywood's Southern Regional plant.

The median home was built in 1977, and about 12.4 percent of units are mobile homes. Gas, where it is piped, comes from Peoples Gas. If you smell it, leave first and call 911 before you call a plumber. Storms matter here too, because the April 12 and 13, 2023 tornado and flooding put water into a lot of low yards.

Davie: Big Town, Several Water Utilities

Davie had 105,691 residents in the 2020 Census, and its lots range from townhomes to horse properties under equestrian zoning. The Town of Davie serves only part of the town with water. Sunrise, Femcrest and Broward County serve other areas.

Pembroke Park: Mobile Homes and Rentals

Pembroke Park is small, with about 6,260 residents. Of its 3,698 housing units, about 53 percent are mobile homes, and the town counts 17 mobile home parks. About 68 percent of households rent, so many calls involve a landlord or park manager as well as the occupant.

West Park: Houses From the 1950s and 1960s

West Park incorporated on March 1, 2005 and had 15,130 residents in 2020. About 87 percent of its 4,944 housing units are detached houses, and the median home was built in 1961. Roughly 44 percent went up in the 1950s.
